The founder of the B.F.A. association, Gerd Schneider, contacted the Ursula-Wandres-Foundation in 2017. Since Ursula Wandres had also experienced that many of the refugees, even with toleration, are not entitled to a free German language course, she was enthusiastic about the association's concept and therefore supports its work and commitment.

Marktoberdorf
Since 2015, we have been supporting the association "inifo" with its headquarters in Marktoberdorf. This association was founded in March 2015 with the aim of offering support and assistance to refugees in Marktoberdorf and the Ostallgäu region. The focus is primarily on enabling young refugees to access the education and training system. In addition to language courses, literacy courses, vocational orientation courses and life orientation courses are offered. In order to be able to run the courses and to have a place for personal meetings, premises have been rented in Marktoberdorf.
Since the association does not receive any support from the municipality and is therefore dependent on donations, the Ursula-Wandres-Foundation has agreed to take over the costs for the premises.

Die Kurve e.V./Freiburg
The music and theatre project of the Gertrud-Luckner-Gewerbeschule is carried out with classes from the AV dual (dual training preparation) and VaBo classes (young refugees) and promotes skills that these young people were not able to acquire in order to make the upcoming transition from school to training and working life. The goals focus on perseverance, the formation of an appropriate positive self-esteem, the development of social skills, a sense of responsibility and overcoming language barriers. In 2023, the project took place for the first time with the participation of a cooperative class with pupils with intellectual disabilities.
The project was carried out annually before the corona pandemic and has been supported by the Ursula-Wandres-Foundation since 2016.

The Blackademy e.V. is a community-based association that implements educational and empowerment projects. The association acts as a platform for Afro-diasporic expertise in order to turn the multi-layered and rich history and stories, skills and stories of the Black communities in Berlin into empowering moments.
The association sees itself as an interface between individuals, national and international (civil society) institutions engaged in all aspects of community life to empower youth, young adults and their families within the Black community.
By supporting the development of swimming courses for young people from the Black community, the organization supported an important project in the area of empowerment and participation.

The Q Collective is a monthly meeting place for young people (13-20 years old) who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, non-binary and/or queer, and/or question their gender identity and sexual orientation (LGBTQ+). The Q collective offers a protected space where contacts are made with other queer young people, mutual exchange takes place, empowerment and the diversity of life paths becomes visible.
The Q Collective follows an informal, self-directed approach that adapts to the needs and wishes of the participants and allows them to actively shape the space. In addition, events and workshops on e.g. mental and sexual health, empowerment or self-defence are offered. The programme also offers the opportunity to learn about current and historical LGBTQ+ issues through guest speakers, films, art and more. New perspectives will be highlighted. At the same time, the program offers anti-discrimination workshops to schools in Berlin that specifically focus social identities, gender and sexuality.

Berlin/2017
The exhibition deals with the post-factual world. This multi-layered, complex and sometimes only subjective view of the world, which is fed by bits of information from the internet. The artists visualise multiple possibilities, alternative perspectives on our realities and point out how realities are constructed and can be obstructed or manipulated. Viewers are encouraged to rearrange their perspectives, think critically about our perceptions and construct their own points of view.
